WWII Beginning To End (From Kona, Big Island) - Tour 8

Come along with Discover Hawaii Tours for a one- day inter island tour from Kona to Honolulu, Oahu for a Pearl Harbor tour.  Our Tour 8: WWII Beginning to End provides history, fun, and an enormous amount of sightseeing.  After your short flight over to Honolulu, your guide will transport you to Pearl Harbor for exciting tours of the USS Arizona and the USS Missouri Battleships. 

Your USS Arizona Tour will begin with a film featuring actual footage from the Pearl Harbor attacks.  You will then board the US Navy Shuttle Boat for a seafaring excursion out to the USS Arizona Memorial and sunken battleship.  At the memorial, view the shrine room and see the names of the deceased etched on its back wall.  Also, look down through the ocean and discover the sunken USS Arizona battleship below.  Once you are finished touring the memorial, the shuttle boat will take you back to the visitor’s center where you can tour the WWII Museum as well as get souvenirs from the WWII gift shop. 

Then it’s back to the mini coach for a short ride over the bridge to Ford Island, where you will tour the USS Missouri Battleship.  On this tour, discover the decks of this powerful battleship which survived many of the US wars and battles.  Don’t forget to view the table on which the Japanese signed surrender documents finally bringing an end to WWII.
